Fly into Salt Lake City
Flying into SLC is generally the most convenient and economical option. There are many direct flights, rental cars are cheaper, and the drive is scenic and not too long. We expect the majority of folks will choose this option.

Fly into Moab
Canyonlands Regional Airport is the closest airport to Moab. There are daily flights connecting through both SLC and DEN. This option is the most direct flight route. However, the airport is tiny so the flight itineraries and car rentals tend to be pricier than flying to a major airport.

Fly into Denver
Denver International offers the most direct flight options and the airport has plenty of car rental agencies. The drive to Moab from Denver is stunning, but longer. You’ll cross the Continental Divide, see the peaks of summit county and Vail valley, drive through Glenwood Canyon (which is supposedly the most beautiful section of interstate Hwy in the USA), and cruise down the Western Slope into Utah. We make this drive often and stop in Palisade, CO for wine tasting and a bite to eat to break up the drive.
